A chance to watch and then have a go at taking some portrait images using various flash techniques. We hope to have two set ups in different parts of the hall enabling two shoots to be run at the same time.

Yes, it will be dark by the time we meet but this will give us the chance to overcome the challenge of limited light as we look to create some fascinating images. Maybe some competition standard images might emerge from this outing.

An opportunity to relax in advance of the Christmas festivities and demonstrate your skill in answering a range of simple (ha ha) questions and share a drink and nibbles with friends.

The meetings for January and February start on 11th January. They will include 5 external speakers and will all be on Zoom.  This enables us to book speakers from further away from our region.

we will share and discuss some of the Nottinghamshire architecture images that have been taken during 2023 by the many members who have participated in the challenge.
