AGM and Presentation Night

Thursday 28th May, we were able to return to our pre-pandemic programme, although the planned night had to be held via Zoom.

It was the last meeting of our 2019/2020 season which of course was our A.G.M. All reports and information relating to this meeting had been sent to our membership beforehand. Acceptance of reports and the voting in of our new committee was all done through Zoom and everything ran efficiently and smoothly. This part of the evening taking just over half-an-hour to complete.

It was also revealed that a decision had been made for us to run a summer season via Zoom which would contain a mixture of speakers, competitions and member-based evenings.

Just before the break, the winners of the club trophies were announced.

After a short break to recharge our glasses we showed the P.A.G.B.’s 2020 GB Cup show which included the Nature Cup and Small Club Cup too. As expected, there were some superb photographs to inspire in all three categories covering a wide variety of subject matter. Keyworth Camera Club had entered the Small Cup and were pleased to see that two of our images had been accepted into the show – you can see these two photographs accompanying this report.
