Purple – Online Competition

The theme of our latest weekly fun competition was purple and images came in representing various shades of this colour. Hues from the natural world dominating the entry.

As the first votes came in it could have been anyone’s victory as a few photographs were tied in first place, until the very last day when one image edged ahead to eventually take top position by one point.

Congratulations go to Tony Walker for his beautifully composed image Lady in the Lavender.

A close second was Purple pansy by John Fisher.
