Club Members Visit Foxton Locks

It was a bright sunny, and warm day when a few members of Keyworth CC went on the club’s monthly outing, this time to Foxton Locks near Market Harborough. If anything it was too sunny from a photography point of view, but you can’t have everything! It was surprisingly quiet, with a only a few other visitors, but there was a bit of action on the locks themselves. We had plenty of time to wander at will, with loads of photo opportunities from narrow boats, the locks themselves, of course, and the wildlife.

All in all it was fabulous day out, relaxed and enjoyable, at a terrific location and a wonderful way to spend the day with friends – there was even the chance for a cheeky pint and a bite to eat!
