Leading Lines – Online Competition 10

Our 10th fun weekly competition had the theme of Leading Lines. We can enter images taken specifically for the competitions or submit photographs from our libraries which haven’t been shown at KCC before.

A wide variety of subject matter was entered, a good mix of man-made leading lines and those created by nature. Colour images dominated the submissions.

As voting began two images remained tied in first place and it seemed like we would have our first joint winners in the short history of these competitions, but it was not to be. A flurry of voting on the last day saw one of these two photographs leap into the lead and never look back.

Once again congratulations go to Tony Walker for Down the Line. This makes it four wins for Tony, which is double the victories anyone else has achieved.

Second place was Amble Pier by Paul Burrows with First Light and Stairway in point third.
