Final Club Meeting of the 2018-19 Season

The 25th of April saw another season come to an end and as tradition has it the first half of our final evening was taken up with the A.G.M., which flowed smoothly and saw the same committee voted back in for another year, the only modification being with a new committee member replacing Trina Fitzalan-Howard who had decided to step down. We thank-you for all your service over the last few years Trina. The only other major change of note is that as from the 2019/2020 season the club will run for an extra month so our new season begin on September 5th and finish on May 28th.

The A.G.M. was immediately followed by the presentation of our annual awards which saw a first for the club in that our chairman Paul Burrows had achieved the ultimate and won every single trophy, so a hearty congratulations must be extended to Paul.

After a break we finished our evening by watching the second half (the award-winning section) of the N.&.E.M.P.F. print Exhibition presented as pdi’s. As expected, there were some excellent images on show supported by an entertaining commentary. The image below, ‘Don’t Tell’ won the monochrome section for Neil Humphries of Rolls Royce P.S.
