Club Member Successes Continue

Keyworth Camera Club member Tony Walker has had this photograph of a yawning weasel selected as Photo of the Month for April 2019 by the British Wildlife Centre, which is located in the hamlet of Newchapel near Lingfield, Surrey.

Tony took his picture on a photographic day, where you can get up close with the foxes, otters, badgers etc. This image was taken as he walked past the weasel enclosure, he was lucky enough to catch it yawning before it shot back down its burrow.

Hundreds of photographs are sent in via Facebook, Flickr etc. and the monthly winners are selected and printed and then displayed at the centre. At the end of the year the winning entries are judged and the overall winner receives a free photographic day at the centre.

Congratulations Tony on having your photograph selected and we all have our fingers crossed that your superb image will be chosen as the overall winner.
