Lincoln Trip

Another Keyworth Camera Club trip out the day after the last one saw eight members converge on Lincoln for an afternoon of photography, a bite to eat, and then on to Lincoln Camera Club for the second leg of an interclub battle with them.

Lincoln Cathedral by Geoff Foster

Lots of photographs were taken during a leisurely stroll around the cathedral and Steep Hill area with buildings and people being the most photographed subjects. Light-hearted banter seemed to dominate the conversations making for a fun afternoon that was enjoyed by all.

Our chosen venue for a meal provided us with a good selection of tasty food, even though they didn’t have any of the Lincolnshire sausages they advertised. “Wot, no Lincolnshire sausages in Lincoln,” echoed around our table as alternative choices were made. Whilst eating, we had plenty of time to reflect on the photographs we’d taken along with other enlightening chat.

The photographs accompanying this post were taken on the day, one having a little afterwork done to it perhaps.

You’ll notice we haven’t mentioned the interclub battle here. If you’d like to read about what happened then you’ll be able to in our next monthly report, so that’s something to look forward to.

Roll on our next club trip out.
