Congratulations to Keyworth Camera Club member Gavin Brand for gaining the distinction of BPE3 Crown Award.
To achieve this, Gavin had to gain 100 acceptances in a number of national exhibitions that together make up the British Photographic Exhibitions group. They currently have 15 member exhibitions across the UK under their umbrella.

Our second meeting of the new season was a critique night. Many members submitted images for appraisal and that resulted in far too many to be discussed in one evening so we had to cut the amount shown to no more than four per photographer. As we move into a new year, Keyworth Camera Club have decided to have a couple of months where everything is done via Zoom, so we will all be tuning in from our homes and not having to venture out into the bitter weather conditions that can grip our country at this time of year….
November 28th was our second internal competition. This round was for prints only, covering four categories: Open Colour, Open Monochrome, Nature and the theme of Action & Sports, the latter having to clearly depict people taking part in sports or another energetic activity.
