Humour – Online Competition 17

Our final fun weekly competition has taken place. This time the theme was humour, a subject that can be difficult to portray in a photograph without the inclusion of words or a title to explain why the viewer should find it funny. Surprisingly, all our entrants submitted images that will make you smile or laugh just by looking at their pictures.

Voting was reasonably tight to begin with, but two started to edge ahead of the others and soon one of those became the obvious leader and that was how it stayed.

Congratulations to Rob Inglis for his image ‘Get a Grip’, a picture you can’t help but laugh at. Rob must also be applauded for being out in such awful weather to get this photograph.

As mentioned at the beginning, this is our last weekly competition which has seen 17 rounds which attracted a total of 174 entries from 20 entrants. Our largest number of submissions was to the round with the theme of ‘Splash’. Only one round had joint winners and six different photographers climbed on to the top step of the podium, and the person taking more victories than anyone else was Tony Walker.
