N&EMPF’s 66th Exhibition Part One

On Thursday February 4th we showed part of N&EMPF’s 66th exhibition. Why part? 2021 attracted record breaking entries and acceptances which saw 344 entrants submitting 2627 images of which 593 were accepted. This meant the exhibition was too long to show over a single evening, so we decided to choose two sections for this night and will show the final two parts on April 15th.

We also achieved our best results with Keyworth Camera Club having 20 images accepted from 10 members. So, a recording breaking year for us too. The nine images seen below are those that we saw in the two sections we watched this evening, which were the first half of the colour acceptances – which included nature – and the monochrome section.

The images shown were extremely inspirational and a joy to view. Ashley Franklin’s commentary being informative and, at times, humorous. We were all left very much looking forward to the rest of the show and seeing just which images took the awards.
