A Project Based Approach to Photography

David Keep, ARPS AFIAP CPAGB BPE4* visited Keyworth Camera Club on the evening of October 3rd to give his presentation “A Project Based Approach to Photography”.

David described in detail how he creates powerful images that stand out from the crowd, explaining where the ideas come from, contact building, planning, shooting and processing techniques. Bullet points and plenty of before and after images supported his first-class delivery that will certainly have our membership taking a fresh look at the methods they use in their photography.

After stunning the audience with a wide range of images and many hints and tips on how he creates them during the first half of the evening, David continued to wow the enthralled onlookers in the second half by showing, in step-by-step detail, how three of his eye-catching photographs (above) came about, nothing was held back as he explained all his methods in crafting these outstanding images.

There aren’t enough superlatives to describe David’s excellent delivery and terrific imagery. This presentation cannot fail to motive our membership into trying new approaches to their own photography and we’ve had many comments already that this talk will surely be one of the highlights of the season.

Thank-you David, for this superbly memorable night and we look forward to welcoming you back to KCC soon.
