FIAP Accreditations

During the last few months, a couple of Keyworth Camera Club members have decided to try for FIAP accreditations. This is done by entering competitions/exhibitions worldwide and having to reach certain targets to gain different distinctions.

First results have begun to come in with Paul Burrows and Steve Myall gaining seven acceptances each in the 6th Photo Perspective exhibition held in Bosnia and Herzegovina. On top of that they each gained an award – a club Diploma for Paul and a National Gold Medal for Steve – so our congratulations to them both.

These results have spurred a few more of our club members to take up this challenge and we will be encouraging even more to have a go too.
